Madrid is Spain's central capital - a city of elegant boulevards and expansive, manicured parks such as the Buen Retiro. It’s renowned for its rich repositories of European art, including the Prado Museum’s works by Goya, Velázquez and other Spanish masters. The heart of old Hapsburg Madrid is the portico-lined Plaza Mayor, and nearby is the baroque Royal Palace and Armory, displaying historic weaponry.

3 nights at Relais & Chateaux Hotel Orfila in a Superior Room inclusive of breakfast
Located in a residential area, exclusive and quiet in the cultural business center of Madrid, it serves as a framework for a different concept of hospitality in the capital of Spain.
Day 2
PRIVATE HALF DAY ‘HABSBURG MADRID’ IN DETAIL WALKING TOUR
You will meet with a local expert English speaking guide at your hotel and depart on a private morning walking tour.
Madrid is a wonderful city with a long history spanning several epochs and creating a sort of thematic divide within its different areas. One of such areas is known as the ‘Habsburg Madrid’ and shines in both beauty and historical content. The historical period in question is the reign of Charles I of Spain, who boosted the city’s growth to unforeseen levels and filled it with lavish palaces and monuments.
Your tour will retrace alluring streets of superb and abounding architecture. We will visit a historical café and have a replenishing snack there before continuing to The Royal Palace. The abode of the Spanish royalty up to 1931, this imposing palace counts among the best-preserved in Europe. We will enter the parade ground, the bedchambers of Charles III, several salons, the royal chapel, the Hall of the Crown… a packed itinerary ending in one of the most incredible balconies of Madrid, a golden brooch with which to seal this perfect tour across history. The tour will take 3.5 hours and includes entrance to The Royal Palace.
Day 3
PRIVATE DAY TOUR TO TOLEDO AND EVENING OF FLAMENCO ART
Today you will enjoy a full day of touring with an English-speaking driver / guide who will meet you at your hotel after breakfast. Travel to Toledo, the marvelous “City of the Three Cultures” where you will experience in the traditions of one of the oldest and most historic towns in Spain. A guided promenade throughout its great artistic beauty and buildings will help you understand the magic of this city-sized museum declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO where Muslim, Christian and Jewish people lived together centuries ago.
Together with a local expert guide, you will visit some of the multiple spaces and monuments that this magnificent city has to offer. It will depend on your pace, your interests but some of them are a definite must: the old Mosque of Cristo de la Luz, the great cathedral of the city -a masterpiece of Spanish Gothic architecture-, the synagogue of Santa María de la Blanca or the Church of St. Tomé, where you can admire works of art by El Greco, one of the most famous national painters who also lived in this inspiring place, are some spots that particularly catch the eye.
Toledo is truly one of Spain's most magnificent cities. Dramatically sited atop a gorge overlooking the Río Tajo, it was known as the ‘city of three cultures’ in the Middle Ages, a place where – legend has it – Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities peacefully coexisted. Unsurprisingly, rediscovering the vestiges of this unique cultural synthesis remains modern Toledo’s most compelling attraction. Horseshoe-arched mosques, Sephardic synagogues and one of Spain’s finest Gothic cathedrals cram into its dense historical core.
Return to Seville in the afternoon and some time to freshen up. Later this evening, we include round trip transfer services from and to your hotel to a Flamenco show where you will enjoy a tasting menu with drinks while watching the show at Tablao Restaurant.
A Flamenco Show is usually a highlight for travellers coming to Spain and, of course, a visit to the capital would not be complete without discovering this important part of Spanish folklore. There is no better way than to attend one of the best ‘tablaos’ (dancefloors) of the city, a place where world-class flamenco stars gather to delight the public with different ‘cantes’ (types of singing). This place has been awarded “best tablao in the world” and one of the “1000 places to see before you die” according to the “New York Times”...
You will enjoy a magical show of flamenco dancers, flamenco singers and specialized musicians while enjoying a delicious dinner paired with local wines and based on the best of Spanish cuisine without leaving the place since the tablao has a fantastic restaurant awarded with 2 “Soles Repsol”. An authentic gastronomic experience combined with an art which was originated more than three centuries ago and nowadays has become a hallmark of Spanish folklore all over the world.
Day 4
PRIVATE TRANSFER TO MADRID TRAIN STATION, FIRST CLASS TRAIN TO SEVILLE AND TRANSFER ON ARRIVAL TO HOTEL
You will be met at your hotel and escorted to a luxury vehicle and privately transferred to Madrid Train Station. Take the train from Madrid train station to Seville and you will be met on arrival and privately transferred to your city centre hotel.
Seville is the capital and largest city of the Spanish autonomous community of Andalusia and the province of Seville. It is situated on the lower reaches of the River Guadalquivir, in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
Gran Melia Colon: C. Canalejas,, 1, 41001 Sevilla,, Spain
3 nights at Gran Melia Colon in a Deluxe Room inclusive of breakfast
Conveniently located within walking distance of the main points of interest - such as the cathedral and the citys most popular leisure areas - this 5-star hotel is a true city icon. It beautifully blends traditional and modern elements, harmonised in an Avant-Garde redesign with a style that is unique to the Andalusian capital.
Day 5
PRIVATE HALF DAY WALKING & TAPAS TOUR OF SEVILLE
There is debate about how to best enjoy Seville: some say it is best to chat with the locals, relish the local gastronomy (the ‘tapas’) and live the Seville way-of-life, while others say it is crucial to dive into the culture and history, to try and relive the events that shaped the Andalusian capital across the centuries.
Both possibilities are, in our mind, equally tempting, thus we posit the best way of going about Seville is to combine a tour of its two millennia of history along with tasting the most authentic food of its taverns.
Discover the oldest bar of the city, walk around and admire the world’s largest Gothic Cathedral, relish the specialties of a family tavern while accompanied by the owners, stroll the streets of the famous Santa Cruz quarter across charming unknown squares and roman ruins, relax yourself with a tasting of Andalusian wines accompanied by typical, yet creative, Spanish food to which no one can remain indifferent or walk through the iconic Plaza de España as we cross the Parque de María Luisa.
Day 6
PRIVATE CULTURAL WALKING TOUR OF SEVILLE AND PRIVATE COOKERY EXPERIENCE
You will meet with your guide at your hotel this morning and depart on a city walking tour. Wonderful Seville ranks among the cities with the biggest cultural heritage in the world and after this tour, you will find out why.
Accompanied by an expert guide, tour the history, monuments and highlights of Seville such as “The Royal Alcázar”, Spain’s longest yet-in-use royal palace is full of anecdotes, legends and beauty set and preserved, brick by brick, by the different cultures which have occupied it throughout the centuries. On the way to the next visit, you will be privy to the history of the beautiful and pebbled streets of the Santa Cruz district, the old Jewish quarter of Seville where the second largest Jewish community in Spain was established.
Next, reach one of the city’s most breathtaking monuments: the historical Christian Cathedral of Seville, the biggest Gothic structure of its kind in the world which, to boot, harbours the biggest altar of all Christendom, a true marvel which will leave us speechless. This city tour will attain its summit atop the very minaret of Seville’s old mosque, known as “La Giralda”, wherein one of the best panoramic views attainable will be granted to our eyes.
Entrances included to the Cathedral, The Royal Alcázar and Giralda.
Private Cookery Experience. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy a great cooking session to delve into the Andalusian gastronomic world, widely influenced by many cultures over the centuries. Your host chef, born and raised in the Triana neighborhood, will open the doors of her home to offer a personal and truly delicious experience.
This culinary journey will begin with the base of our cuisine, the extra virgin olive oil, which will be accompanied with a fresh seasonal appetizer. From here it will be time to roll up your sleeves to discover the secrets of the salsa brava, the marinades that the Arabs left in these lands, the keys to the use of saffron in a great rice or the crazy combination of EVOO integrated in an ice cream... This advanced cooking course will be accompanied by different wines and beverages and, of course, this celebration of flavour will conclude seated at the table of your private host to taste all you have prepared.
Day 7

Day 8
PRIVATE HALF DAY TOUR OF MALAGA

Through a private tour, we will enjoy strolling the old city center of Malaga, a tour full of culture and history. However, there is more. Málaga has another terrific kind of heritage: its amazing gastronomy!
