This morning you will be privately transferred from your hotel where on arrival at the Vatican Museums, your guide will lead you into the museum. Not only is the Vatican Museums complex the largest museum in the world, but it is also one of the world’s richest and most valuable museums.

Take the tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with no queue at all! No stress to access the Vatican: your professional guide will take you inside and accompany you in a memorable visit to one of the most important art collections worldwide. This morning you will be met by your driver and escorted to a luxury vehicle for a private transfer to the rail station. We include First Class Tickets on the Train from Rome to Naples. Upon arrival to the Naples Rail Station, you will be met by your English-speaking driver holding a sign with your name on it and privately transferred to Sorrento where you will check in to your hotel. En-route we include a stop for a guided tour of Pompeii with a local English-speaking guide (with entrance fees). 

In Pompeii, you will meet an expert local guide for a private guided tour. Entrance fees are also included and arranged by your guide. Pompeii is a vast archaeological site in southern Italy’s Campania region, near the coast of the Bay of Naples. Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Positano is so photogenic with its sun bleached, pink and terracotta houses steeping along the seaside. Streets are full of colorful wisteria and bougainvillea draped hotels, restaurants and shops. The southern Italian holiday feel is prominent here, with sunbathers gobbling up pizza and gelato on the beach. Fashion has imprinted fiercely here too since Positano was the first town to import the bikini from France! Spiaggia di fornillo is one of the less touristy beaches and is a great place to spend the day. Perhaps rent a chair here to soak in the sun and local environs.

FROM SORRENTO TO FLORENCE VIA NAPLES

This morning you will be privately transfered from your hotel in Sorrento to your hotel in Naples. We include first-class rail seats for your journey by train from Naples Rail Station to Firenze Rail Station. 

Upon arrival at Florence Rail Station, you will be met by an English-speaking driver and privately transferred to your hotel. If your hotel room isn't ready for check-in, the hotel will store your luggage. You will be met by a local guide for a half-day walking tour of Florence which will end with included entry to The Accademia Gallery. The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore the city further.

Florence's museums, palaces, and churches house some of the greatest artistic treasures in the world. The most popular and important sites in Florence include the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Uffizi, the Bargello, and the Accademia. His anatomy, later reproduced by Michelangelo’s contemporaries, was carefully depicted, thanks to the in-depth studies carried out by the great artist.

After a free morning in Florence to relax, this afternoon you will meet your driver/guide in the hotel lobby and depart on a half-day private tour of the Chianti Wine Country. With your driver/guide, you will head south of Florence to the Chianti area where the famous Chianti Classico wines are produced. Driving on the Via Chiantigiana you will see the most beautiful countryside of the region, with rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, villas and medieval castles. You will have a chance to stop at one wine estate and also visit the small Tuscany town of Castellina in Chianti. You will arrive back in Florence in the early evening.

Board a private motorlaunch from Venice train station to hotel or nearest mooring point. Porter service is provided at the train station.

Later this evening, you will be assisted from your hotel to the nearest boarding point for a private 30-minute gondola trip. The rest of the evening is at leisure.
